VW-MESH-100 — IP Mesh Radio (100 km)

VW-MESH-100 — IP Mesh Radio (100 km)

IP mesh radio that forms a self-organizing network — every node relays traffic, so the network re-forms around obstacles and moving nodes.

Overview

IP mesh radios form a self-organizing network in which every node relays traffic for the others. Published mesh models carry standard IP over Ethernet, for multi-aircraft missions, relay chains, and mobile ground crews — see the mesh guide under Applications.

  • Long Range

    Up to 100 km (LOS)

  • Rugged Design

    Operating range -20°C to +55°C

Packing & Delivery

Mesh nodes ship as individual units — order the node count your network needs, and each node is packed and shipped as its own kit.

  • Standard packing: individual shock-absorbing case per node, with antennas and cables in separate compartments.
  • Shipping: international express (DHL / FedEx / UPS) dispatched from China — carrier and cost quoted per order.
  • Lead time: quoted per order — larger node counts are confirmed when you request a quote.
  • Documentation: the network setup guide and configuration tool ship with the order.

FAQ

How many nodes can one network carry?
The supported node counts are listed in the specifications above. Networks scale by adding nodes — each node relays traffic for the others, so per-node throughput degrades as the network grows.
What happens when a node moves or drops out?
The network is self-organizing: nodes re-form the topology automatically without manual reconfiguration, so coverage follows the nodes.
Do mesh nodes need line of sight?
The range figures above are line-of-sight reference values. Mesh tolerates obstruction better than point-to-point links because traffic hops around obstacles — but every hop costs range and throughput.
What services run over the mesh?
Standard IP over Ethernet — video streams, telemetry and data traffic share the same network. Confirm the bandwidth your services need against the peak throughput row.
